My number one social network is pinterest, that is the place you should start from, not just because am a regular user of it, no, have tested all others and have found out that pinterest is the best to go with.

Reasons for chosen pinterest are that you can start seeing tractions in terms of visitors to your site from day one of pinning a post, even if you do not have one single follower.

Also the duration of a pin/image in terms of traffic to your site stays longer time when compare with any other social site.

Have experience it a lot of times, have seen a single pin/image generating hundreds of traffic for more than 6 months even beyond as long as that particular pin is been repined with my url link, yet with just few follower following me.

There are so many reasons why I choose pinterest as my number one go to social site for traffic as against facebook or instagram, though these are great sites with high volumes of traffic, but the traffic life is very short and also you need to have massive followers before you can start seeing results.
